“Birding around Yangon Tour” is recommended for any bird-watcher who has not much time to do birding over the country. Especially we do organize it for someone who has extra time to see the birds in Yangon and its vicinity. Water birds and forest birds will be found on this tour. The main destinations are Moeyingyi Wetland Bird Sanctuary and Hlawgar Wildlife National Park. The main key birds are Pale-capped Pigeon, Racket-tailed Treepie, Rosy Minivet, Dollarbird, Forest Wagtail, Greater Coucals, Ruby-cheeked, and Olive-backed Sunbirds, Scarlet-backed Flowerpecker, Black-capped, White-throated and Common Kingfisher, Lesser Whistling-duck, Common Moorhen, Red-wattled Lapwing, Oriental Darter, Little and Great Cormorants, Asian Openbill, Coppersmith Barbet, Green-billed Malkoha, Greater and Lesser Racket-tailed Drongo, White-rumped Shama, Black-crested, Red-whiskered, Red-vented, Stripe-throated and Streak-eared and Black-headed Bulbuls in Hlawgar Wildlife National Park and Glossy Ibis, Asian Openbill, Black-crowned Night Heron, Little Tern, Yellow Bittern, Lesser whistling-duck, Cotton Pygmy Goose, Northern Pintail, Ferruginous Pochard, Black-capped and Common Kingfisher, Blue-eared Kingfisher was also recorded, Green and Common Sandpipers, Pheasant-tailed and Bronze-winged Jacanas, Black-winged Stilt, Little Ringed Plover, White-breasted Waterhen, Watercock, Purple Swamphen and Common Moorhen, Black Kite, Pied Harrier and other species.

  Time for Birding   From October to May are recommend, the best time will be on November, December, January and February. We do organize whole year.
  Weather Info:   October to April will be hot in day time but it will be cool in the early morning and late evening, June to September will be rain.
  Recommend Group Size   Private or group tour is recommended. Not more than 12 Pax is better on boat at Moeyingyi
  Type of Accommodation   Basic and comfortable at Boat house in Moeyingyi but can choose many different types of accommodation in Yangon
  Meals Info:   Lunch box is recommended for first day and Chinese meals will be served at Boat house. All meals should include in your package.
